Btw, every blog I write is bs.
I'm cold. I'm lonely. I'm lost. I'm helpless. I wish the world wasn't so small. I wish there was an infinite tunnel I could walk down without seeing the same face twice. I dreamt of such a place… I was walking down a dark corridor, portraits to my left and right. The corridor was illuminated by a light that seemed to be far off in the distance, but that didn't grow brighter as I tried to approach. To glance behind was to stare into the black abyss. It seemed that every step forward I took collapsed the universe behind me. The air was warm. I looked to a painting hanging proudly on my left. It was dominated by a blood warm red. It was a portrait of a beast upon magnificent thrown, looking into me. Its horns extended beyond the golden frame in which it was kept. The eyes of the devil were burning, the cries of a thousand souls rung in my ears as my face crawled closer to the painting. A twisted smile mocked me from the world of images and I pulled away. Perhaps i'm feeling too complacent with my previous work place. Having the freedom of MSN-ing during office hour, know exactly when & where to slack, when i'm feeling bored or about to doze off at work, i just walked to my kaki's desk and start chit chatting + gossipping... All of a sudden, i just miss all those fun that i used to have... Sad.. My new company is like a totally different place to me.. Culture shock + many many other shocks!!! My department people are one crazy bunch of workaholics!! They OT everyday till super late. The earliest timing that i heard of was 10pm.. and the worst??? 3 days never go home?? SIAO BOHHHHhHHHH!!!???? They think what?? They working as auditors meh?? Auditors oso dun work that much OT la!!! Cuz they got peak n off-peak period!! Headache!! Super headache!! What should i do?? Júlí er runninn upp bjartur og fagur (ég hef amk fulla trú á að nú fari sólin að láta sjá sig). Ég er nú orðin félagsráðgjafi og átti góðan útskriftardag í Reykjavíkinni. Annars finnur maður mikið fyrir stressinu við svona bæjarferðir þegar maður á ekki heima þar lengur. Á hótelinu gengur allt sinn vanagang og sumarstarfsmennirnir eru að detta inn úr dyrunum. Bylgjan var hjá okkur um daginn með beina útsendingu og við eigum bráðum von á tónlistarkonu í kjallarann. Frændur okkar Færeyjingar eiga stundum erfitt með aðflug og höfum við nú í tvígang fyllt hótelið hjá okkur seint um kvöld þar sem vélar þurftu að snúa við frá eyjunni. Við Signý á Eddunni reynum að leysa þetta í sameiningu. Þá er mikið umstang í stuttan tíma og þó maður sé svolítið framlár að taka á móti gestum upp úr miðnætti þá er eitthvað við þetta... Næsta mál á dagskrá er að ákveða næsta vetur. Þá stangast á suðrið og austrið og ég stend uppi með valkvíða og söknuð. Það kemur allt í ljós á næstu... (more)

Hair Woes
I have been the kind of person who would be so conscious of her hair. Really. But that was back when I haven't given birth to my son. See, during those times, I really had good hair that friends would envy my locks. I had the kind that you could just wash and then let the air dry it. I didn't have to worry about combing it. Well, I guess I really was not conscious. But when I became a mother, one of the things I discovered was that my locks seemed to get tangled easily. And that was one thing I hated. A friend gave me something new to try for my tangled mane - the Bumble and Bumble thickening shampoo and the Bumble and Bumble thickening conditioner - and these she have purchased over at mybumbleandbumble.com. So there. I had nothing to lose though so I tried it. Upon using both products, I have decided that they worked well. Really well. I mean, I don't have to contend much with flyaways.
